The San Luis Obispo Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a “downspout thief.” Authorities say a man was caught on surveillance video making off with more than 10,000 dollars worth of copper downspouts from stores in the Irish Hills Shopping Center late last Wednesday night. At least ten businesses were affected by the theft. Anyone with helpful information about the “downspout thief” is asked to contact the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
