Grant Funding To Improve Lompoc Pedestrian Safety

The city of Lompoc recently received a 2.7 million dollar grant to improve pedestrian infrastructure. Yesterday, officials held a
“Safe Neighborhoods and Safe Streets” event. According to a press release, the event was part of a Caltrans Active Transportation Program aimed at helping people easily walk or bike to work, school, or recreation activities. City officials will use the grant funding to improve pedestrian infrastructure over the next three years.
