The City of Guadalupe is moving forward with a plan to renovate and reopen the Royal Theatre. A 12 million dollar renovation project will begin next March. The project will include a new performing arts center. The city is now taking construction bids. The deadline to apply is September 20th. The city faces losing nearly five million dollars of federal funding if construction isn’t started by March.
