One of the fastest growing sports in America got a little bigger yesterday. Grover Beach officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday for the newest public Pickleball facility. The Mentone Basin Park pickleball courts are the result of a two-year pilot program. The popularity of the program led to the permanent installation of the courts near the intersection of Trouville Ave. and South 14th Street.
