The Santa Maria man accused of murder in the death of a man in Pismo Beach was in court yesterday. Andrew Rodriguez has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of Jonathan Perez last month. Rodriguez’ defense attorney says the two were friends. Both worked at Guiseppe’s restaurant in Pismo Beach. Rodriguez pleaded not guilty to the murder charge. He remains in custody without bail.
