A 21-year-old Santa Maria man believed to be connected to shooting incident last month has been arrested. The shooting happened last month on South Broadway. The victim was airlifted to a hospital in the L.A. area. An investigation led authorities to a known member of a local street gang. Yesterday morning, police served an arrest warrant on West Newlove Drive. 21-year-old Alex Brandon Lopez-Ramirez was taken into custody without incident. He’s being held on 250,000 dollars bail.
