The City of Santa Maria has postponed its 3rd annual Pumpkin Smashing Event. A forecast of rain for Saturday prompted officials to move it to Sunday between 1 and 3 pm at the Santa Maria Town Center Parking lot. The event is free and helps keep the pumpkins out of the landfill.
