Los Osos residents could be facing higher garbage bills. A proposed 13% rate hike is on the table. The Los Osos Community Services District (CSD) is set to meet Thursday to discuss this increase, which, if tentatively approved, would prompt the CSD to send out notifications to the community. The increase would be between 3 and 8 dollars a month, depending on the size of your bin. If the initial approval goes forward, the CSD will consider formally adopting the new rates in January.
