Ten Central Coast cities could see an increase in their trash disposal fees. Mission Country Disposal is proposing a rate increase to cover the company’s increased cost of labor, vehicle maintenance, organic processing costs, landfill disposal costs, and other operating expenses. Residents in the Five Cities, San Luis Obispo, Los Osos, Cayucos, and Cambria could see the increase as soon as January.
