The Chief Operations Officer of a small business in Atascadero was arrested late last week. According to Atascadero Police, Robert Vasquez was the C.O.O. of Scott O’Brien Fire and Safety before he was taken into custody on Thursday. Authorities say he stole more then 423,000 dollars over a five year period, using the money to to pay his rent, credit card bills, and other personal expenses. His bail was set at 20,000 dollars. The investigation is ongoing.
