Thousands of people took part in the 45th annual Carlin Soulé Memorial Polar Bear Dip in Cayucos yesterday. A crowd of about 4500 people showed up to witness the event and take part in the various activities that were taking place before the swimmers took to the water. Between 1,500 and 2,000 swimmers kicked off 2025 by diving into the Pacific.
