An investigation into the Moss Landing lithium battery power storage facility fire is under way. Meanwhile, one California lawmaker is calling for a halt to Vistra’s plan to build a similar facility in Morro Bay. Assemblymember Dawn Addis, whose district stretches from Monterey County and includes Morro Bay, says a disaster like Moss Landing should never happen again. According to the Tribune, Vistra paused its development application for Morro Bay last Friday.
