More than 40 people lost their jobs last week when a fire ripped through two Santa Maria businesses last Thursday morning. According to KEYT, there is some good news. The owners Vino Et Amicis Wine Bar in the Orcutt Union Plaza plan to donate 20 percent of their gross sales tomorrow to the unemployed Shaw’s Steakhouse workers. And they’re challenging other area restaurants to follow suit. Fire investigators are still sifting through the debris to find the cause of the fire.
