Another longtime downtown San Luis Obispo store will be closing its doors. Charles Shoes first opened on Higuera Street back in 1966. The owners have decided the time was right to retire and sell the building. A liquidation sale will start on Thursday at 10 a.m. and continue until everything is gone. According to the Tribune, The building is currently on the market for sale through realtor John Righetti. One local real estate site listed the asking price at $5.2 million.
