California Mid State Fair organizers have cautiously set dates for this year’s fair. The tentative dates are July 21 through August 1. Officials are still trying to plan how to hold the event while the COVID-19 pandemic is ongoing. That could mean decreasing daily capacity while modifying or dropping some attractions altogether. But before anyone passes through the gates, San Luis Obispo County would have to reach the Yellow tier of California’s reopening Blueprint and get county approval. Officials point out, guest safety is the number 1 concern.
