Vandenberg Space Force Base plans to celebrate its 2,000th launch this morning. A United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket is scheduled to launch from Space Launch Complex-3 at around 11:11 this morning. It will carry a Landsat 9 satellite into orbit that will track landscape changes, including those caused by climate change.
