A former Central Coast bookkeeper is headed to prison. 56-year-old Ginger Mankins pleaded guilty to six felony counts of embezzlement. She had worked as a bookkeeper for Rick Machado Livestock from 2007 to 2017 and B&D Farms from 2008 to 2017. In that time, she stole more than half a million dollars. She’ll spend the next 10 years in state prison.
