The San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors adopted the new district map yesterday. The map goes into effect next year. Meanwhile, a citizens’ group calling themselves “SLO County Citizens for Good Government”, announced plans to sue the board over the map. The group claims the map gives Republicans an unfair advantage in upcoming elections and is a violation of the California Fair Maps Act.
