A massive construction project in Santa Maria is underway at the corner of Miller and Santa Maria Way. When the building is completed, it will be five stories high and offer affordable housing for seniors. According to KSBY, The Santa Maria Studios complex will include 378 units, with half being leased as income-based affordable options. City officials say phase one of the project should be completed by the end of the year.
