The Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors has approved a new housing project for Orcutt. The project would build 119 new homes near Clark Avenue and Highway 101. Some residents opposed to the project are worried about the effects of traffic on nearby neighborhoods. Developers say the plan includes open space for nature and trails.
