New details on the three-county crime spree and pursuit that left two people dead and one juvenile in custody earlier this week. Lompoc police say the suspects were linked to the shooting death of a 33-year-old man on Sunday and a carjacking in Anaheim. On Wednesday afternoon they were investigating another shooting incident with no injuries. A short time later, investigators say the suspects knocked over a Buelton liquor store. Their blue BMW was spotted on the Northbound 101 and pursued through San Luis Obispo County into Kern County. The suspects abandoned their getaway car and tried to hide near a canal. The juvenile was taken into custody without incident. The second suspect was found dead from a gunshot wound and a weapon near his body. The investigation is ongoing.
