Lompoc Police are investigating a domestic incident that led to a man being set on fire over the weekend. Saturday afternoon, officers responded to a couple of 911 calls regarding a father and son fighting in a home on North D Street. When they arrived, Joe Garcia Junior refused to open the door. The officers forced the door open to find Joe Garcia Sr. involved in flames. He was taken to Cottage Hospital suffering third-degree burns. Joe Garcia Junior is facing several charges including false imprisonment and attempted murder.
