The Kristin Smart murder trial is set to return to court this morning. So far, jurors have heard opening statements from the prosecution, who laid out a timeline of events. The defense attorney for Ruben Flores told the jury to be skeptical of the prosecution’s case, claiming they didn’t have evidence that Paul Flores killed Smart, and no evidence that Ruben Flores helped his son hide her body.
