The body of an elderly man was discovered yesterday on the side of Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo. CHP officers responded to a report of a person down near the northbound lanes near Grand Avenue. SLO City Fire EMTs pronounced the man dead at the scene. Authorities believe the man’s death was due to natural causes. An investigation is ongoing.
