A proposed housing project in Nipomo has some neighbors worried. Local developer Nick Tompkins, owner of NKT Commercial says he wants to create an affordable housing development with all the perks of a resort. Some locals worry about what impact 1,289 homes and thousands of new residents would have on the local water supply, environment, and traffic. Others feel it could be a way for people to stay and live on the Central Coast.
