A stolen vehicle was recovered yesterday thanks to GPS. The CHP received a report of a stolen truck in Templeton at around 6:30. Thanks to GPS, officers found the truck on Highway 41 near the Kern County line. When Officers tried to stop the truck, the driver backed into a patrol car and sped off, leading officers through San Luis Obispo, Kern, and Kings Counties. He was eventually taken into custody in Kettleman City. Jeffrey Emmett is now facing several charges.
