San Luis Obispo Police have identified the driver who struck and killed a local couple and their dog last month. According to a press release, 24-year-old Daniel Patricio was traveling on Sacramento Drive when he lost control of his vehicle, fatally striking Matthew Chachere, and Jennifer Besser, while they were walking their dog on November 21st. A call of a dead dog in the creek bed and a missing persons report led officers to the deceased couple a day later. The investigation is ongoing.
