Morro Bay Police are investigating the death of a 78-year-old man found in a boat. Officers responded to a report of a possible death on Main Street at around 8 a.m… They discovered the man’s body inside a boat stored at the scene. According to KSBY, the property owner tried to convince the man to evacuate, but he refused. Investigators believe the man’s death was storm related. An exact cause of death has not been determined.
