Hundreds of kite enthusiasts attended the annual kite festival in Santa Maria over the weekend. Saturday afternoon the skies over the Rotary Centennial Park in Santa Maria were filled with kites. The event included free kites, food trucks, vendors, raffles, and family-oriented activities. It was sponsored by the Santa Maria Valley Discovery Museum and the City Recreation and Parks Department.
