An Arroyo Grande middle school teacher was arrested yesterday on suspicion of child abuse. According to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s, the Mesa Middle School teacher allegedly hurt a 13-year-old student when she pulled a hairbrush from the student’s hand. Moments later began throwing papers at students. 42-year-old Sarah Watts is on administrative leave pending the Sheriff’s Office investigation.
