Lompoc Police say an early morning shooting left one person dead, another in the hospital, and a suspect behind bars. It started with a report of domestic violence at around 3 a.m. Sunday. Officers responded to the 1600 block of West Pine Avenue. While they were responding, a neighbor reported a gunshot victim on their front porch. When they arrived, police found one person dead, the survivor was transported to an area hospital for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation is ongoing.
