A legal dispute over a new housing project in Lompoc has ended. Now more than 475 new single-family homes can be built north of Hancock College’s Lompoc Valley Center. The development was originally approved by the Lompoc City Council in 2007, but was stalled during a dispute over water and sewer services. Officials now say the development will be able to begin next year.
