Atascadero Police arrested a man just hours after he allegedly robbed a gas station early yesterday morning. According to police, 21-year-old Anthony Thomas walked into the Circle K gas station on Morro Road wearing a blonde curly wig just before 6 a.m.. He approached the cashier, brandished a hand gun and demanded money from the cash register. He fled wth an undisclosed amount of cash. Video footage led police to their suspect. Thomas admitted to the robbery. The money was recovered from a hole in the ground. Thomas is facing several charges including committing a crime while out on bail.
