The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office has released video of an officer-involved shooting that happened at the Melody Market in March. The off-duty officer was with his family when he ordered Manuel Reyes Rios to stop shooting and surrender. When Rios continued to fire, The Santa Maria officer opened fire, resulting in the 19-year-old’s death. The investigation is ongoing.
