If you’re thinking about a scenic Highway 1 this weekend, expect delays. Cal Trans says a stretch of the highway through Morro Bay just south of Yerba Buena Street will experience “intermittent full closures” from 4 to 10 a.m. Sunday. The closures will allow crews to install a fiber optic cable on two utility poles that cross Highway 1 at Vashon Street. The California Highway Patrol will be conducting traffic stops with delays up to 10 minutes.
