Santa Maria Fire investigators believe they have found the cause of Wednesday’s home explosion that injured four people. Authorities say “the explosion was accidental in nature,” originating in the home’s kitchen. An open natural gas outlet is being blamed. The explosion destroyed one home and damaged 22 others. Damage is estimated at more than a million dollars. No word on the condition of the four people who were injured.
