A new park and cultural center is coming to Santa Maria. The City held a groundbreaking ceremony yesterday for the Enos Ranch Park and Cultural Center. It will pay tribute to early Japanese agricultural pioneers who helped establish Santa Maria’s agricultural economy. Officials hope the center will become a year-round recreational destination for cultural events.
