A San Luis Obispo County barbershop owner, accused of sexually assaulting a woman and two underage girls, will face all counts against him. Nate Abate’s defense attorney wanted one of the rape charges dropped, claiming it had surpassed a 10-year statute of limitations. But a 2017 law extended rape statute of limitations indefenately. Yesterday, the judge denied the attorney’s motion. Abate’s next court date is October 5th.
