Paid parking could be coming to Morro Bay. Earlier this week, the Morro Bay City Council directed staff to develop a plan for paid parking around Morro Rock. According to the Tribune, paid parking could reduce traffic congestion at the rock and help pay for for maintenance of the parking lot. The city staff would present the plan to the Coastal Commission before returning to the city council for review next year.
