Following an investigation by the Securities Exchange Commission, a Santa Maria financial advisor has agreed to pay back millions of misappropriated dollars to former clients. According to KSBY, Julie Darrah reached a deal with the SEC to repay funds she embezzled from her clients between November 2017 and July 2023. Two of her victims were elderly widowed sisters who lost more than a million dollars.
