The Santa Maria Joint Unified High School District and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a report of inappropriate behavior by a substitute teacher at Righetti High School. A picture of an unidentified substitute teacher sitting behind a desk with his pants down around his knees began circulating on social media on Friday. He was holding a Pringles can in front of his groin area. The sub was removed from the school campus and the substitute pool. The investigation is ongoing.
