Several Northern Santa Barbara County firefighters were recognized for their service last night. The firefighters were honored during the 46th annual Firefighters Appreciation Night at the Santa Maria Elks Lodge. Five firefighters were awarded Firefighter of the Year awards at their respective city and county departments including a crewmember from the Arroyo Grande Hotshots, part of the U.S Forest Service.
