Ballots For Primary Election Hitting Mailboxes

Ballots have started hitting San Luis Obispo County mailboxes. According to the County Clerk-Recorders Office, some voters may have received two ballots. Voters who re-registered to vote due to a name, address, or party affiliation change after January 5th received two ballots for the March 5th primary election. If you received two ballots, destroy the first ballot or return it to the Elections Office in downtown San Luis Obispo or Atascadero. You will not be able to vote twice. If you haven’t registered to vote, you have until February 20th in order to vote next month.
