Santa Maria City Council members received a report on improving Fire Services within the city. The 267-page report focused on short-, mid- and long-term goals to improve fire services. The Santa Maria Firefighters Union and developers want the city staff to present the report to the Chamber of Commerce, homebuilders and members of the real estate and insurance industries because of its implications for them.
