The Santa Barbara County Civil Grand Jury has released a report criticizing the City of Lompoc for a lack of oversight of the Visit Lompoc tourism organization. According to Noozhawk, Grand jurors raised questions about Visit Lompoc’s lack of transparency and financial discrepancies adding up to more than $500,000. The Grand Jury recommended better oversight and an independent audit of the organization.
