The Pismo Beach Police Department is mourning the loss of one of their own. Department officials say Sergeant Trevor Blevins died Sunday night following, what they called, a tragic off-duty accident at his home. Sergeant Belvin had been with the department since the beginning of his career 11-years-ago and was a K9 handler until his dog retired last year. No other details about the accident have been released.
