The preliminary numbers from this year’s Point-in-Time Count in San Luis Obispo County look promising. The Point In Time count is a survey of people currently experiencing homelessness throughout the county. The report released yesterday shows San Luis Obispo County’s homeless population declined by 277 individuals between 2022 and 2024. More in-depth numbers are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
