Grover Beach has been awarded a 3.1 million dollar Community Development Block Grant. Officials say $2.6 million will be used to update the city’s water service lines, and add control valves and fire hydrants throughout the city. The remaining half a million dollars will go to public services and two housing assistance programs run by the 5Cities Homeless Coalition.
