The Grover Beach City Council has appointed a new Council member. Business owner Zach Zimmerman will fill the District 3 Council seat. It was vacated when former council member Anna Miller moved out of the area. During the interview process, Zimmerman said dealing with homelessness and furthering the city’s economic development were among his “top priorities.” He will serve out the rest of Miller’s term which ends late next year.
